Amateur golfer Georgina Snow has beaten more than 100 applicants, including her own boyfriend, to a top job at Colin Montgomerie’s home club.
On July 1, the 18-year-old from Devon will start work as an assistant professional at Turnberry Golf Club in Scotland, where the Open Championship will be held just over

two weeks later.
Snow will work with Montgomerie, one of her golfing heroes, at his Academy, developing her interest in sports science and swing technology.
